Katie Hunter (she/her/hers) is a queer writer and educator based in San Francisco. She teaches high school and middle school English and leads creative writing courses for youth. She also writes professionally for education-focused organizations and nonprofits that help targets of online harassment.
Katie is a member of Page Street writers and an alumna of the Disquiet International Literary Program. Her fiction, poetry and cross-genre narratives have been featured in HerStry, Janus Literary, Milvia Street, Lucent Dreaming and other literary publications.
